Wide shot of a real class in the studio.
Real members, not stock. Compress it.
Most people do not lose their health all at once.
They lose it slowly. A stiff back that becomes a bad back. A walk that gets shorter. Stairs that start to count.
Island Movement is built around one idea: the work you do in your thirties, forties, and fifties decides what your seventies look like. Strength, mobility, and recovery are not vanity. They are the plan.
We are a longevity studio. Everything under our roof is pointed at keeping you capable for as long as possible.
One membership. The whole studio.

Wellness Coordinators Who Know Your Name
They greet you, learn what you are working on, and help you find the right class.
Reformer Pilates and ELEMENTS contrast therapy run on separate memberships. Ask your Wellness Coordinator at your first visit.
Members talking after class.
The community shot.
Drop-ins do not change anything.
A class here and there feels good for an afternoon. It does not build strength, and it does not build a habit.
Membership is what moves the needle, because it removes the decision. You are not weighing a drop-in fee against a Tuesday evening. You just come.
Members who train three times a week for three months do not describe feeling better. They describe being different. Sleeping better. Standing taller. Picking things up without thinking about it.
What your first month actually looks like.
Nobody starts confident. Here is the honest version, so none of it catches you off guard.
Your first class
Come fifteen minutes early and tell us it is your first time. We will show you the space and put you in the right room. Mats, blocks, straps and props are all here, so bring a water bottle and nothing else. Every class has modifications, and no instructor is going to put you in a posture you are not ready for.
Your first week
You will be sore. That is normal, it is not a sign you did it wrong, and it passes. Most people stop feeling like a beginner somewhere around the third or fourth class, once the room and the vocabulary stop being new.
Weeks two and three
This is where it starts paying you back. Better sleep, less stiffness in the morning, more patience by the afternoon. It is also where most people quietly fall off, so your Wellness Coordinator will check in with you. That is on purpose.
By the end of the month
You will know whether this is yours. If life got in the way some weeks, that is alright, it happens to everyone. There is no contract, so staying is a decision you get to make on your own terms.

This is probably not for you if:
- You want a gym you can use at 5am with nobody talking to you. Our 24/7 gym is a different membership, and we are happy to point you there.
- You are looking for Reformer Pilates specifically. That runs separately, and we would rather tell you now than after you join.
- You want one session to fix a specific injury. That is physical therapy, not a membership, and we will point you in the right direction.
- You are visiting the island for a week. Our Travelers options fit better.
And it probably is for you if:
You live on St. Croix, you want to get stronger and stay that way, and you have been meaning to start for a while.

Before you ask.
I have never done yoga. Am I going to be the worst one there?
No. Every class on our schedule is open to beginners, and every instructor gives modifications without being asked. Tell your Wellness Coordinator it is your first time and they will put you in the right room.
I am not flexible.
Neither is most of the room. Flexibility is a result of practice, not a requirement for it.
What do I need to bring?
A water bottle. Mats, blocks, straps, and props are here.
Can I cancel?
Yes, anytime, with no fee. We would rather you stay because it is working.
What happens after the first month?
Your membership continues at $167 per month. There is no contract, so you can stop whenever you want.
What if I travel for work?
Say so at signup and your Wellness Coordinator will walk you through the options.
Is Reformer Pilates included?
No. Reformer Pilates runs on a separate membership. Your Wellness Coordinator can explain the options at your first visit.
