Class Cancellation & No-Show Policies
To ensure fairness to instructors and other clients, Island Movement maintains different cancellation and no-show policies based on class type. Please review the policy that applies to your booking below.
Yoga Classes
Yoga classes are generally more flexible due to larger rooms, amount of classes, and capacity.
Yoga Cancellation Policy
There is no late-cancel fee for yoga classes.
There is no no-show fee for yoga classes.
Important note for yoga clients:
If you are unable to attend a yoga class, please do not cancel your booking in the system. Simply do not attend. Our team will leave the booking untouched, which prevents any automated late-cancel or no-show charges.
Late-cancel or no-show fees for yoga classes will only apply if a specific policy is clearly communicated in advance (for example, for special events or limited-capacity classes).
Fitness Classes (Group Training, Strength, Conditioning)
Fitness classes require advance planning and limited capacity. These policies are strictly enforced.
Unlimited Memberships
Cancellations must be made at least 5 hours before class start time.
Late cancellations (within 5 hours) incur a $5 late-cancel fee.
No-shows incur a $30 no-show fee, equal to the class value.
Limited Plans and Drop-In Classes
Cancellations must be made at least 5 hours before class start time.
Late cancellations or no-shows result in forfeiture of the session, class credit, or drop-in fee used to book the class.
No refunds are issued.
Reformer Pilates Classes
Reformer classes are small-group, equipment-based sessions with very limited capacity. These policies are strictly enforced.
28 Day Plans and Drop-In Classes
Late cancellations or no-shows result in forfeiture of the session, class credit, or drop-in fee used to book the class.
No refunds are issued.
General Policy Notes
All cancellation and no-show fees are non-refundable.
If Island Movement elects to issue a courtesy credit, it will be applied as account credit only and may not be refunded.
Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in booking restrictions.
These policies are in place to respect instructor time, class capacity, and the overall client experience.
